Michael Hanley

Michael F. Hanley has been a lawyer in the Northern New England since 1976. He is admitted to practice in state courts of Vermont, New Hampshire and Maine, and the federal trial courts in Vermont, New Hampshire and the Northern District of New York. He is admitted the First Circuit Court of Appeals, the Second Circuit Court of Appeals and the United States Supreme Court. 

Mr. Hanley has an AV rating from Martindale-Hubbell, is selected for inclusion in the Best Lawyers in America, U.S. News & World Reports’ Best Lawyers and New England Superlawyers. He is a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates.

Paul Perkins

Paul J. Perkins is a civil trial lawyer primarily representing:

● people seriously injured from sexual abuse, medical and legal malpractice, defective products and the negligence of others;
● people and businesses in commercial disputes; and
● people and organizations in insurance coverage disputes and in bad faith and fraud cases.

Before joining Plante & Hanley in 2001, Mr. Perkins was a criminal defense lawyer and served as a Special Warfare/Special Operations Deep Sea Diver in the U.S. Navy. Mr. Perkins’ substantial trial work as a criminal defense lawyer early in his career and the medical training he received in the highly competitive Navy diving program laid the base for his legal work today.

Mr. Perkins enjoys the competitive environment of the courtroom, but also works with clients to control the outcome of their cases by resolving disputes through negotiation and mediation. With a warm and personable nature, Mr. Perkins relates easily to both clients and jurors alike.
